Jennifer Karpf is the Founder / President of the National Sports Marketing Network (NSMN) - the trade association for the sports business industry in the United States that she founded in 1998.

She is the creator and Executive Director of Sports Tackles Cancer - a national industry program that raises funds for various cancer charities. 100% of the funds raised are donated directly by members to the program's beneficiary charities. Additionally, Sports Tackles Cancer offers pro-bono sports marketing consultancy to cancer charities.

Additionally, Jennifer started and manages Sports Business Bookstore -- the only online bookstore for sports business and management books.

Jennifer is an award-winning entrepreneur with 25 years of corporate and non-profit experience. With her thousands of contacts and her vast work experience, she often consults with companies, conferences and charities in the areas of board management, marketing, sports business, sales development and strategy. Jennifer is also a public speaker in the areas of entrepreneurism, leadership and careers in sports business.
As a former Adjunct Professor at New York University, she now teaches very popular, private classes in sports marketing, sports sponsorship and career development.

Jennifer Karpf's first company National Sports Marketing Network (NSMN) turns 19 years old! With steady membership growth each year, NSMN remains the only trade association in the United States for men and women who work in the sports business industry. Governed by a board of industry executives, NSMN boasts more than 11,000 Individual and Corporate members who work across dozens of sports business job titles at sports teams, leagues, brands, agencies and venues.

    CSE, a national sports marketing agency, invited Jennifer Karpf to their Atlanta headquarters to teach the class "Business Networking" to their staff.

  • July 2016
    Variety magazine & Sports Illustrated hired Jennifer Karpf to help promote their upcoming Sports & Entertainment Conference. In addition to the leading sports business executives on the agenda, the keynote speakers were Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade. This is the third time that Variety hired Jennifer to assist with social media and event promotion for their conferences.

    Jennifer Karpf was nominated and selected to attend The White House Summit hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama. The private, invitation event was held in June 2016. Speakers included: President Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Oprah Winfrey and others.

    CNN International interviews sports business expert Jennifer Karpf about the controversy surrounding athlete Maria Sharapova.

  • December 2015
    National Sports Marketing Network (NSMN) teamed up with the National Football League to host the country's only educational discusson about the marketing of the Super Bowl's 50th Anniversary. The private NSMN event and case study was moderated by Harvard Business School and held at Levi's Stadium - host venue of Super Bowl 50.
